There may be times when your office has lost power or lost Internet connectivity. When the Lifeboat Queue is activated, your inbound calls are predicted to your cell phones so you don't miss calls. The Lifeboat Queue feature allows you to accomplish this bit of telecom magic. When your power/Internet come back on, simply disengage the Lifeboat Queue to return your inbound calls to your desk phones.
How to use this feature
From your Cool Telecom connected desk phone:
- ► Dial your Lifeboat Queue Feature Code XXX or XXXX
- ► Allison will say "Please enter your password, followed by the pound sign.
- ► Enter the PIN number
- ► Press the Pound Key (#)
Activating Lifeboat Queue from your cell phone.
- ► Dial your main (or back line) number
- ► During the menu press the option to engage (or disengage) the Lifeboat Queue.
- ► Enter the PIN number
- ► Press the Pound Key (#)
Each time you dial either the feature code (or the menu option) and enter the PIN number, the current state of the Lifeboat Queue is reversed. If the LBQ is OFF, dialing the feature code/menu opinion will turn it ON. If the LBQ is ON, dialing the feature code/menu opinion will turn it OFF.
