You may be having connectivity issues or it may be due to a configuration problem. If your calls are going straight to voicemail it could be due to a Holiday Schedule, a Call Routing setting or some other unforeseen event. It is possible to reach some, most or practically all web sites and still have a connection issue. Sometimes Internet connection problems are minor, affecting only one server. But if that server is your outbound trunk, a reboot of your network devices and or your PBX system may be necessary to fix your issue.
If your calls are going straight to voicemail it may be due to an incorrect holiday schedule even though today isn't a holiday. If it was a holiday on this date last year, then there's a pretty good chance your holiday schedule is simply out of date and needs to be updated. Your on-site PBX administrator should have been shown how to do this, however, if that person is unavailable we would be happy to correct the error. Open a ticket and let us know.
To have us fix your holiday schedule, please .
More often than not, rebooting your network connectivity will resolve issues with making outbound calls.
Try rebooting your modem and router (Show me how)
You may also need to reboot any switches you have in your network. Switches are normally long, thin devices with numerous ethernet cables plugged into them. If you don't know what a switch is, you may not have one.
If rebooting your modem and router (and any switches) did not fix the issue, try rebooting your PBX.
When service is disconnected for non-payment, outbound calling is suspended first.
