Porting your telephone number to Cool PBX Networks (Cool Telecom)

Switching your telephone number to Cool PBX Networks (Cool Telecom) is easy when you follow these steps

  • Make sure the number you are porting is not under contract and is not disconnected.  If your current provider has a contract with you that is not expired, you may not be able to port your number without satisfying the early termination provisions with any contract you may have in force with your current telephone service provider.  If you have a number that is disconnected, meaning it isn't currently ringable as a landline or a cellular phone, you may have to establish service with the provider that has that number before you can port the number to us.

  • Fill out our Letter of Authorization. We have a standard form to be filled out authorizing Cool PBX Networks and/or its affiliates or agents to port your number to our platform.  You will need your current carrier's account number, your PIN code, and your Federal ID.  This is usually your Federal Employer Identification number but, if you don't have one, then it would be the social security number of the owner of the telephone number.

  • Provide your most recent telephone bill.  This bill should be complete and not missing any pages (front and back) and should plainly show the number you are porting.  Your contact information must exactly match what is on the current bill from the losing carrier.

You can find our Port Request form here ► PORT REQUEST FORM (pdf)

You can submit both the phone bill as well as the port request form on our ticket system by clicking this link ► Submit Port Order Request Ticket
