This guide assumes you have already download Trillian from trillian.im, have created a Trillian account, and logged in.

If you have not already done these things, do so now and then begin below with step one.

1. Click the upper left-hand corner of the Trillian window and choose Settings.
   
   
   
   
2. Click Settings
   
   
   
   
3. Choose the IM Accounts tab. 
   
   
   
   
4. Click "Add a new account..."
   
   
   
   
5. Enter your phone number followed by "@s.ms" (like an email address), your password, and click Connect.
   
   
   
   
6. You can close that window and choose "Allow Anyway" on the pop-up that may appear in the bottom right corner of your screen.
   
   
   
   You're all set to respond to incoming texts.
   
   NOTE: Each time you start Trillian, you may need to again click "Allow Anyway" before your account can fully connect.
